Our Story
Carrington Homes was founded in 1992 by Carl McIntyre and his parents, Chuck and Sandy. As for the name, there’s no family connection. However, it is rooted in our core value of caring.
The name was chosen by Sandy, a literacy volunteer, who put two and two together, blending “caring” with the English suffix, “ton,” to create Carrington. This was a fitting combination, as the “ton” suffix means “estate,” which is exactly what Carrington Homes does – build ultra-custom residential real estate.
Starting in Greenfield, Indiana, Carrington Homes made the move to the northside, where we’ve found continued success.
Today, Carl and his team, work side by side to deliver outstanding homes with unparalleled caring, craftsmanship, and communication.
