Complementary Design & Planning
- Collaborate with our in-house designer (unless you already have one) to create a preliminary design based on your input.
- Meet with our Selections Concierge and Vendors who will turn your design wishes into your dream home by pre-shopping your project for essential items like flooring, cabinetry, countertops appliances and plumbing fixtures.
- Then we'll provide a preliminary estimate for your home or renovation based on your design and pre-shop selections.
At this point, we'll provide you with a price to get the preliminary plans transformed to full Construction Documents. We'll need the final construction documents to provide you with an accurate and detailed proposal.

Plans and Proposal
We'll meet to make any changes to your preliminary design and incorporate them in the final plans. After the final plans are complete, our estimating team will send them out to our vendor partners for accurate pricing. We, then, provide you with a very detailed proposal that includes all the specifications for the project.
You and our team will meet and go through the proposal to ensure we've included everything. We're happy to provide optional pricing to make sure that you're getting everything you want within your budget.
After we sign the construction agreement, we can coordinate financing and will send the necessary documents to the bank for approval.

The Build
Now here comes a feature that sets Carrington Homes apart. We'll give you access to our unique construction management website. Here, you’ll be able to view scheduling, plans, and selections you’ve made. You can also review and approve any change orders, send messages to our entire team, and even upload photos or images! Best of all, you can track any changes to your budget at any time via mobile or desktop access.
Throughout the build process, our project manager and superintendent will meet and communicate with you to confirm and finalize all your selections before we purchase and install.
Our project management software is continually updated during each phase of the project. You'll automatically be notified when various selections are needed to keep schedules on track.

Project Completion
Once the construction and clean-up phase is complete, we’ll walk through the home with you and create our final ‘punch list’ – in other words, any final tasks or items that need to be fixed, tweaked, or completed.
Move In!!
Typical time frame: 6-18 months depending on the size of the home or remodel.

Follow-Up & Warranty
One year after you move in, we'll do another walk through and create a punch list for any issues that may have popped up in the first year.
